The Story Behind Tobosoksini Games
We’re men with names. My name is Jamal—an indie game developer, Unreal Authorized Instructor, and lifelong gamer from Amman, Jordan. By day, I work as a senior C++ developer and 3D generalist. By night, I’m building Head North: The Inevitable, teaching Unreal Engine, and creating tools and plugins for developers.
Games have been part of my life since the ’90s—from the Family Game and Panasonic 3DO to the PS1. Playing Metal Gear Solid in 1999 sparked a love for immersive storytelling that never left me. In 2020, inspired by a video from indie dev David Wehle, I committed to learning Unreal Engine every day, and Tobosoksini Games was born—a one-man studio named after a nickname for my daughter.
Tobosoksini is more than a studio; it’s my personal journey of turning passion into projects—making games, teaching developers, and sharing knowledge with anyone who dreams of creating.
