On Saturday, May 9, 2026, I attended the Beyond the Frame event at Amman Chamber of Industry Theater – Second Circle, organized as part of the Youth of Jordan Forum in collaboration with CODERZ. I had the opportunity to attend after receiving an official invitation from Epic Games, which made the experience feel even more significant.
The atmosphere was lively and welcoming; the drinks, gifts, and professional event photography stood out as highlights. These touches made the social side of the gathering enjoyable and memorable.
On the other hand, the content itself was disappointing. The talks contained inaccuracies, and the speakers lacked real hands-on experience in game development. None of them had actually created a game, which made the sessions feel disconnected from the practical realities of working with Unreal Engine.
Overall, Beyond the Frame felt more like a social gathering than a platform for new insights. While I appreciated the hospitality and the effort to bring young people together, I left wishing for deeper, more credible discussions led by developers who have truly built with the tools they were presenting.
